Just wondering which autofocus mode works out the best for ceremonies/receptions. When shooting formals, I use "one shot". Would it be smart to change to ai servo during the ceremony?

Servo mode for processional/recessional. Single shot for almost everything else. And I stay away from AI focus (automatically switching between single-shot and servo). http://www.twilightandtulle.com

They moved the DOF preview button from the left to right side of the body which is far more convenient. Still wish you did have to hold it. The Q screen is quick enough when that is the only thing you are adjusting. Image Editing OK

Question for you servo folks--are you centre composing these shots or choosing an off-centre focus point ? The main reason I don't use servo for, for example, the processional, is that I'm usually composing off-centre and I don't trust my outer points very much (I focus - recompose, even at 2.5). I user center focus. I focus where the jacket and shirt meet.
