This is my brother who, along with my other 3 brothers, is a fabulous musician (Buffalo Tom, anyone?). This is our second sing-a-long on Christmas Day.

Any comments on the photo? Color, composition...?

I like the photo, Kristine but the glare off the top of chair and the lamp is distracting. Can you clone or brush some of it out?

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

I gave it a shot. It needs some blending next to the light stand but I have to put the kids to bed so I have no time now! Any better?

In my opinion, I would've moved him further from the lamp. Not too fond of the color . . . Probably wouldn't have cut the back of the guitar off. . . Here's a retouch. . I cropped it, deleted the picture frame in the top left, then deleted the window at the neck of the guitar, converted it to greyscale, adjusted the contrast, then slightly burned the lamp to balance it out with the wall. . .

The glare is better but I do like Dave's B&W version best.

You can see why I had to crop part of the guitar off in this photo! I do like the b&w version but was trying for more of an "aged" look. I guess it doesn't really work with this photo! Thanks for the comments!
