I went yesterday to see an old mill, not used for some decades. These both pics are double exposures to get the window view visible as well. In the first I reduced saturation and adjusted curves a bit. Second is more 'natural'. (10-22, inside 1/15 s, f/6.3, ISO 1600) C&C?

I Like the first one and I altered what I think it was needed to fix.(it is easier then to type all the explanation alltogetgher...I fixed a curves and added a tone so picture does not looks cold and a bit washed down.
It just needed litle bit of mood...

Cheers

Excellent work, sasa007! Last night when I was working with this picture, I felt something was missing. I liked to keep quite high dynamic range (is that the right term?), but as your edit shows, that was not really needed. Also the thin black frame improves the pic a lot.

You're right. There is a lot of dicussion in the Forums, should we use frames or not (some like they are unnecessarely recuding the size of the picture itself). I usually like them as well, but now I was too eager to post the picture before giving a final touch to it :o . (Here are some examples of my framed pictures: http://www.laasanen.net/POTN/ (external link))

very nice, Olli! I love derelict buildings. Your framed shots on your site are wonderful, as well, esp the first and the last.
Sweet new avatar, btw.

I like the edit also but I'd be happy if I'd taken the original. Nice work Olli

Thanks Jayson. It was about -10 C (15 F) both out and inside, that was part of the shooting experience :D
