just about ready to pull the trigger on a 5D MKIII
(or is it trip the shutter) :)

and, B&H and Adorama are closed for the Jewish holidays

Can anyone make any suggestions for (reliable, authorized) dealers that are open during the holiday?

Or, i may just decide to go ahead and pay the local sales tax, and purchase it from a brick and mortar here...

Why not just wait? It's not like they are closed indefinitely and they post up their closings ahead of time so people are aware.

If you waited this long, why not wait a little longer and avoid paying sales tax? If there was a price difference or a super sale, than yea I would go else where.

B&H has been posting the closing of the site for the past week or so.
Why not wait until they run another <$2,800 deal through ebay?

I don't see them listed as a Canon Authorized Dealer though.

And here's where I ordered my 7D, but I suspect based on conversations with them, they're closed for the holidays as well...

They beat B&H by a good chunk.

Hmm, this doesn't look like a good online retailer. I clicked the link and the WOT rating is poor, I googled rythercamera and got saw a bunch of bad reviews (bait and switch).

I posted about the same issue after missing the Adorama ebay sale. Anybody have any suggestions for a reputable authorized dealer with a price under 3K.

I've used BuyDig a lot when I can't order gear from B&H
They also have free 24 hr shipping on most big ticket items.....They are the same company as Beach Camera, never call you, never try to upgrade anything. I've returned items very easily and did I mention FREE 24 hour shipping?
