Center Pinch Lens Caps from Canon

Canon appears to have started making center pinch lens caps now, at least in 52mm with the E-52 II cap. B&H lists them here (external link) as a new item. Hopefully they will add the other sizes.

Not new. I had one for my old 28-135. It even said ultrasonic on it too. It's new because that is for the new Mirrorless lens

you can pick up knock-off ones from china on ebay as well.

I get those for all my lenses. I find they are easier to take on and off, especially if i still have a hood on.

I just received my centre pich style cap from Hong Kong Friday, this is from e-bay, cost me 1 dollar shipped to my door in Canada says canon on the cap and its 67mm for my 70-200 f/4l, not bad considering my local camera store wants at least 10.00 before tax for one that us blank.
Amazing something from overseas is 10 times cheaper then down the street from where I live

I agree. I've bought a few caps and hoods from China and HK for a couple of bucks a piece inc shipping.
