Took this last week, this is a 225ft falls, with ice at the bottom....Comments please.

Took a winter camping trip last week to the Smokies Mts, Fall Creek Falls State Park and Cumberland Mts State Park...more pics at http://www.lmack.org/f​alls/index.html (external link)

Welcome to the forum. Your shot has a good composition, but is suffering from poor exposure. Some processing in Photoshop or similar program could improve Levels, Contrast and Sharpness. I am guessing the lighting was very poor when you were there.

I will agree with Stan,the comp.is great(unless you could go to the bottom of the well)and the s/s is not bad either but the exposure is realy poor.
I don`t know if its the light or the camera used?

Thanks for the comments, it was mid afternoon and the lighting was awful...about 6 stops of light, also the guard fence was higher than my head so I had to hold my folded tripod againt the rail and elevate the camera over the top to get the shot...I have worked with the curves in PS and it does look some better...I had people with me that prevented me from coming back later in the day and trying again, overall I really like the ice at the bottom of the falls...

This is a shot from inside the Smokie Mts Natural Park of Miegs Falls...lighting a lot better...
