Sigma 70-200 2.8 OS and 5D MkIII

Has anyone used this combo?
If so, how does the lens perform on the Mark III?

I've read a review or two saying that the MKIII will show the "shorcomings" of "Non - L" lenses. I'm wondering if I should take this with a grain of salt, or will the new body
accentuate problems that may not be apparent with say a 7D or a 60D?

I'll probably get the 24-105 along with the 5DM3, but my zoom is going to be
(at least for a while) the Sigma 70-200 2.8 OS.

I haven't, unfortunately I don't own a 5dIII. What you can expect (based on my experience with the lens on the 7D) is nice sharp center, even wide open (at least mine is), but perhaps your corners on the full frame will have softness and some vignetting.
