I do a lot of music videos, and often use slow motion. They way I do it is to interpret 60fps footage into 30fps playback. This gives a good smooth playback in slow motion. But I see a lot of videos with really good slow ramping. What is the best way to ramp, recording on Canon 60D, and editing on Premier Pro CS5? If I use the slow motion effect on 30fps footage, it gets choppy. It works well with 60fps footage, but You Tube doesn't play 60fps footage. Anyone know how these really smoothe ramping videos are done? Are they recording in 60fps and just opening the footage on a 30fps timeline?

Thanks.
