Shoot video.

That's about it. You cannot take 20 still images that fast. Shoot video and pull out individual frames.

You can't. The Canon 550D can expose no more than three still frames per second.

And no Canon DSLR can expose more than ten still frames per second (this is wrong). There's an outside chance that you could extract useful individual frames from a Canon DSLR that can record motion video, such as the 550D, but if you want a 20fps camera that operates at the 550D's full resolution, you're going to need something far more capable and expensive.

Correcting an error: the Canon 1DX can achieve 14fps.

Of course you can do it. . .it will just take 5 more cameras and 5 more friends to press all 6 shutter buttons at the same time.

Why exactly do you need 20 frames per second? As DC Fan pointed out, the fastest Canon DSLR can't do 20 fps. I believe the 1DX has a mode that can shoot 14 fps, but we're talking a $6K+ camera. There are some mirrorless cameras out there that can shoot 20 fps.

it's difficult to show a sequence of events with a single shot... ;)

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
