I'd also clone some of the textured blanket over top of the Girly Bits. Very cute baby. Sue Cassidy

Agree with Sue that #3 is the best (no silly flowers, best skin color), but that it could use some additional cropping The headbands (and hats) is very popular in Canada. I don't own many myself, but I find that parents bring them to the sessions and want to use them. Find me at www.jephotography.ca

The instagram type old fashioned thing , for me only, is so unflattering. It makes them look jaundiced.I agree with Sue about making sure all the bits are covered.Using props is going to happen, but if you make them part of the photo as opposed to the huge focal point, it works best. you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

If you look at the forum here on newborns etc, you will see some fabulous poses that you can "form" the babe into. Seeing them flat out and overhead gets old fast, I bet you could work wonders with some different looks! Yikes - I personally love the old-fashioned look (I must - I did it Find me at www.jephotography.ca

It seems to work when they are older. Again, just me and my feel for it. Good on the first shoot though Get your white balance down pat, then the extra time in processing won't take all your efforts.Nah, it's all good. I posted here to get the feedback Find me at www.jephotography.ca

Oct 02, 2012 20:52 | #11 Does anyone else have any feedback about watermark placement? Should it be off to the side or on baby? (just for web images - it's not there for client proofing, etc) Find me at www.jephotography.ca

Don't have any idea where you read that, but the answer nowadays is nowhere. If you are paranoid about someone stealing your online work then "don't post it" is the only solution. It is easy to clone out watermarks - turn on image editing and I'll show you. -- Image Editing OK --
