Have you experimented with bouncing, diffusing, etc.? Ye, yes and yes. I took it with my 50/1.4 and bounced the flash off the ceiling using the Lightsphere. She is VERY fair skinned and sticks out like a sore thumb in family photographs because of it. Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.
