when I lived in Northern Ohio and was quite active on this forum. I have moved to the mountains of Eastern Tennessee over the summer and hope to get back into bird photography (heck, any kind of photography) at my new location and hopefully have a few new species to go after. Anyone know what kind of different species I can expect if any??
Meantime, hope you will enjoy a few from back up north from the old 50D and the reliable 300L.

Thanks for looking

Mike

Excellent series and my only criticism is they're a bit too small for my poor old eyes

Thanks everyone, this was always a friendly bunch. I'll try to get a few from my new setup soon but you will have to settle for the usual titmice, nuthatches and chickadees to start with. I'll also try to make them a little larger when I post them.
I have seen a few indigo buntings, a scarlet tanager, some eastern bluebirds, waxwings and yes a pileated or two that visit my acerage everyday several times a day. Just a matter of time before I catch him down low. I live on a big lake so am hoping for a little duck action as the winter gets closer up north, we'll see.

Mike

Nice set. Is that a typo on the woodpecker? It looks like a Red-Bellied rather than Red-Breasted. I just saw...and photographed one for the first time last fall.
