Far enough guys, i guess i am too picky. lol

I Shoot RAW and convert to JPEG through Photoshop Image Processor. I didn't do any sharpening and my Picture profiles on the Camera have Sharpening all the way down.

If shooting RAW, you probably want to do at least a little sharpening in Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) and/or Photoshop. Canon's Digital Photo Professional software will take account of the camera's image processing settings, but ACR/Photoshop do not.

Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

Just gotta get used to it - "bokeh fringing" (reddish in front of the focal plane, greenish behind) is very, very common in fast lenses.

Bill is my name - I'm the most wanted man on my island, except I'm not on my island, of course. More's the pity.

True, and at the apertures of the examples it is about what I'd expect for this amount of contrast. I see it on the cat shot, but it doesn't seem that objectionable and you you just desaturate the green in that area.

Especially in the 50-85mm range, there are some subjects that you just may not want to shoot with these fast primes.

I would expect it to get a lot better at f11, but yes, this is pretty normal for a fast prime. Perhaps why some people prefer 2.8 zooms?

Now this is purple fringing (can't find better examples, but I have them somewhere):

Yea, I just downloaded the wine bottle shot (different that the one above) and I can't see anything wrong. There is a little 'regular' (not Longitudinal) CA around the label that can be fixed in PP, but you have to zoom in to see it.

I agree you can see it in the shots in the OP, but for these subjects I'm not sure it's a lot worse than I would expect. But I also haven't used that lens.
