That is a very arguable statement! I am one that would disagree.

But as was previously stated, unless you have need of IS (and it can also be used in macro mode), then there is little difference (weather sealed yes, build somewhat) between the L and the non-L macros.

All taken at 100mm+ on crop, the first with the 100mm macro ;)
