Great stuff again, Penel. Love the last two. Great pose in the last, it works surprisingly well.

Hi ladies, some beautiful shots on here again.

I went to Richmond Park again today. As soon as we arrived I saw these four young deer playing. Pics not great as it was still not very light (I am beginning to think it won't be very light again til spring, a little brightness would be nice!), but they were very entertaining, and obviously having fun.

I haven't seen deer so obviously playing before.

Then I caught these two just as they almost merged into one

LOL at that 2nd shot, Emma!!!!
Nice series.

I am still sick, still feeling crummy & have no energy. That said, we did have a nice Thanksgiving at our daughter's but I had very little appetite to eat anything.

Tristan was nonplussed about turning one, hated the icing on his cake so he let the dog lick his hands & then Tristan dug in to the cake part with gusto. It was so funny how he knows what to use the dog for already :)

Aww love that one of Tristan letting the dog lick his hand - and how nice that you aren't getting hysterical about it like some people would!!!

Brilliant shots of those young male deer Emma - play in most species is practise sparring / fighting / hunting. Certainly looks like they had a great time. I was hoping to get to one of the deer parks in the morning but am going to Gaucho restaurant again for their doggy Christmas lunch so won't have time to do both unfortunately. I want some nice crisp frosty light mornings please!!!

All my grandkids & dogs have shared pacifiers, chew toys, bones etc. because I cannot watch them every second. It is definitely not something I have ever worried about plus they are all huge dog lovers.

Sorry to hear you are still poorly Maureen, hope you are better soon. Tristan is turning into a proper little boy now (rather than a baby) - going to be a good looking lad!

I have had a good day moving horses round Surrey and visiting a potential new horse property my friend wants to take on. A bit run down - but ideal. If she gets it I may be getting a young horse - she wants to take him on but is already bringing two youngsters on herself so he would be on her property but my project (totally supervised by her as she knows loads more than me). I am so excited! Just got to stay calm until the paperwork is signed for the property ..... going to be a long few days / weeks. And did I mention I am excited?!!

Good evening everyone! I have been lurking on the sidelines and enjoying everyone's photos and adventures! Sorry to hear some of you have gone through surgery and now Maureen being sick....it sure is a rough time of year for that!
We had a pretty nice summer here and got out to do a little photography. We went to the coast for a couple of my vacation weeks, then a few weekends we went to a couple of the local "rodeos" and then a local county fair.
Here are a few of the shots I got......hope you enjoy and CC is always welcome!

Maureen, Hope you feel better soon. Wow, has Tristan grown! He's so cute! I'm looking forward to grandkids. :)

Back out to one of my most shot places. :)

Great shots everybody!

Maureen, hope you'll feel better soon.

I went out this morning and came home with a number of decent shots that I need to process, but here's one of a Winter Wren. I only had the 300mm with me and he was a distance away, but it's my first of the season so it'll have to do. :)

Thanks for all the well wishes; after 13 days I think I am slowly turning the corner...... :)
I have been doing photo shoots all weekend; some just simple family shots for my neighbors who have their adult children home. Those are easy; front yard, the mom is always thrilled with the photos because she has all her kids there. And dad never cares as long as mom is happy.
Today I am starting my Christmas baby shoots; I have something new drummed up for them so we shall see how they come out. Stay tuned......
