She was waiting very patiently in the waiting room last night for her baby brother Preston Riley to be born. She rarely ever takes a bad picture! I had a very hard time trying to get photos in the Labor and Delivery room with my 85mm but I managed a few decent shots for my Brother and his wife. I will be repurchasing the 50mm for situations like this!!! I haven't taken many "people" shots. I am enjoying learning. MaureenSouza Ms. MODERATOR Something Spectacular! More info | I personally like buying gifts for the underprivileged kids. Some years we have adopted a whole family but I couldn't find anyone doing that here this year. So I did find 2 boys ages 6 & 7 and 2 girls, ages 7 & 8 to buy toys, new pajamas and a warm coat for. I will wrap them all & deliver them next week. We have so much & we don't need a thing so I feel better about buying for those in need. Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

I have flat slip-ons for the more adventurous couple sessions, but generally wear low heels (mid height) for the rest of the day. I would like to wear comfortable flats during the day (I generally wear long dark pants), but the flats I've tried don't look stylish enough. It doesn't help that I am short as well (5'3").
