They are sweet, Belinda. Mine were taken with the 24-70/2.8 but most of the time I use the 50mm/1.4 on my babies. I was just too lazy to change it out this time ;)

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Penel, is that first doggie smiling?
High energy? You would not know it from the second shot!! :p

haha wait til you see some of the others!

Levina de Ruijter wrote in post #16511874 (external link)
Ah no, Jo! The first doggie is smiling after he has just told a joke and the second one gets it and is laughing out loud!

Great shots, Penel.

And sweet baby shots, Maureen.

Thanks Levina - and yes Maureen very cute especially the first one. The yellow headband is a bit bright in the second one!

joayne wrote in post #16511971 (external link)
LOL Levina! You're right! :)

Mo, it's no wonder you get the colds dealing with the babies! Beautiful and peaceful shots of Grace ..

Lucky for me I'm not out much. I've prolly lost all my immunity buddies! I've been so cold/flu free .... knock Wood ;)

Oh, and by the by Penel. I think your logo/watermark is one of the most tasteful and pretty I may have ever seen. Did you design/create it?

Thanks Joayne, I had a friend who is an artist draw it for me then another friend who is a graphic designer put it together with the text. I wanted something that no one else could possibly have - so I use it as a watermark / logo and on any paperwork too.

This dog below is over 11 yrs old! she jumped about 3 ft in the air!

I fear it's all part of Penel's magic with them quadrupeds, Jo. We will most likely never know...

(she probably bribed him)

Stina - best of luck to your husband - it sounds like a big deal - will you be taking photos, I hope so!

Thanks Penel, he's been practicing for this all year. I'm going to try and take some pictures.

Those dogs are so cute, Penel..... & LOL, Joayne!

2 of my babies cancelled this week, everyone has a cold & runny nose so we will try again next week. In the meantime, Grace came along:

Grace is beautiful, Maureen.

+1 I have always admired your logo.

It has been rainy and gloomy around here this weekend. I found a little ray of sunshine at my brothers. Preston is the sweetest little baby! I know these are not professional quality photos, but we had so much fun!

My 50mm 1.4 will be here next week!!! :D

These are beautiful and Preston is adorable.

I don't think my dogs would stay still for pictures but I might try an informal shoot in front of the tree.

Yes, I tried last night but my attempts were very poorly executed. I am on my iPad but later I will post some from my PC.

Maureen you need someone to help you - a handler for the dogs and you just deal with the photography side of things! it's very difficult taking photos of dogs on your own. My lot are very good at it but they've been used to it for years!

One of my little spaniels Figgis has been in the vets since 5am with a poorly tummy - we've just got him home and he's exhausted poor little chap.
