I think the biggest problem is that one of my pups is mostly Jack Russell Terrier but we call him "terror' ;) And using a flash is never that great either but I am too lazy to haul out my umbrella/lights.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

I recently joined the forum, yesterday actually, and I found this thread. As I was browsing the first few pages I figured I would throw in a quick introduction. I'm 28, live in central FL and currently work in the healthcare field. My passion lies in art and photography. I have always enjoyed it but got into it more seriously about 3 years ago. I mainly shoot nature photography, pets (mainly mine right now) as well as volunteer as a pet photographer for a local humane society. I have also gotten practicing portrait photography and doing pictures for coworkers. My other hobbies include computers, writing and reading. :)

What lovely contributions! I love the colors on the first two and all three pictures are very nice. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Welcome,1ceblu3!! Beautiful shots and the colors are great. Would you like to share your first name with us as we are all on a more personal level here. :)

I took Tristan to visit Santa today; he was fine with him as long as I sat next to Santa too but after I slipped the baby on to Santa's knee, he was not happy about it. Still, I love this shot, taken with my P&S.

Mo! That's perfect!
We've all had that first experience!
Or witnessed it ;)

Great Tristan shot!

Good evening everyone!
Loving the puppy shots Penel!!! So precious!!
Great shot of Tristan and Santa Maureen! He's so cute!!
Welcome to the ladies thread Karley! Wonderful shots you shared! A precious Angel you have there!
I haven't been out shooting lately as it's been too stinking cold. It hit -1F on my way home from work tonight! We're due for a significant snow storm here on Saturday night and Sunday. Maybe it'll warm up when it snows and I can get over to the park in town and get some nice night shots of the Christmas lights and tree!
We had our Christmas get together for work last night in Bangor and we're having the family party on the 14th. Need to get the yankee swap gifts and make a spaghetti pie for that one.
I really also need to get the guitar out and start practicing for a Christmas program on the 22nd.I was specifically asked to do Silent Night and O Holy Night. I sing Silent night in German for the first verse. Really am looking forward to this as it's been a couple of years since I've done this. I will take the camera with me on that night as well and see if I can get a few shots.
I hope everyone is well!
