Thanks Joayne!
We definitely have to meet up somewhere again soon. You have any trips planned? We are having grandbaby #5 in August so after I help Danielle get through the first 6 weeks, Skip & I are going to take 2-3 trips before her maternity leave ends in December.:-) We are seriously talking Niagara Falls in October and Big Island of Hawaii in November.

You should definitely go to Niagara Falls!! And let me know when you'll be there and I'll make the 2.5 hour drive down. Depending on how the fall goes, it could be absolutely beautiful with fall colour!

Hope everyone is doing well. I spent the weekend doing photos & making food for my niece's Bridal Shower. Here is one cute little bunny from yesterday.

How fun, Maureen! The photo is adorable.

I didn't have a good camera when I went to Niagara Falls 27 years ago. I may have to meet you both there. :) Must get water-sealed stuff, though.

If you plan on going behind the falls or on the Maid of the Mist, yes, waterproof is necessary! Sadly, I don't have a waterproof camera. :(

I went there last February while it was all frozen. It was cold but super sunny!! Used a polarizer and ND filter at the same time just so I could get the shutter speed down low enough to smooth the water out a bit.

Nice pictures, Melody. I really like the amount of motion blur you captured on the second picture. :-D

Beautiful pictures. I am stuck here for the duration as my 16 year old has crew every single day except Sundays and he doesn't drive yet and my hubby and I are it! So, maybe when the kid gets his license or when crew season is over, I can get away to do some fun stuff. Niagara is only about a 13 hour drive for me.

Hi everyone. I haven't been around for months, just trying to catch up a bit now but don't think I will manage to read everything i have missed!

This year has been a bit rubbish so far, my older dachshund died in January then a week later my son rolled his car and wrote it off. Luckily he is OK (whiplash, concussion and bruising so very lucky). Add my mother's worsening dementia and it hasn't been a very relaxing couple of months! On a happier note we have a new addition - meet Jester.

My younger dachshund Basil wasn't happy as an "only dog" after Digby died and Jester was looking for a home. He is just a year old (first birthday yesterday) and is a tiny dynamo and exhausts us all!

Tomorrow I am off to Crufts, looking forward to a great day out.

We missed you, Emma! Glad you are back & survived the downfalls. Your new pup is just darling.
I spent the past 2 days having all 4 grandkids here while building a swing set & treehouse for them. Tonight I am pooped but happy we survived it all.

Thank you Maureen - I am definitely feeling my age tonight! Up at 4.50am to walk dogs before day out, driving a total of about five and a half hours and the rest of the day on my feet rushing round to catch up with all the people I wanted to see or had promised to take photos of. Can't do these days as easily as I used to. Just going through the photos now, will share some if there is anything worth sharing.
