Mark, you are too nice for words. Seriously it was almost difficult not to take some good pictures, even in crappy weather & light. We just had so many opportunities and the scenery was gorgeous. I wish somebody would sign up and go with me next year. There are still 7 spots open.

I wish I could join you Maureen, it looks like a blast! Unfortunately it's right in the middle of our Spring semester here. I'm glad that you had such a good time and are going back. And I meant what I wrote, those bison shots are gorgeous.

Mark

A little of the scenery. It was amazing to see frozen branches hanging over a steaming Hot Spring. Paint Pots & Mud Pots bubbling away and geysers erupting a lot of water but masked by the steam as the hot water hit the frigid air.

I'd really like to Maureen, but taking care of my MIL, she won't let anyone but family take care of her, and leaving the house is unheard of!

But I will get there, someday.........

Great shots:-)

That’s too bad Lynn. Skip’s sister came & stayed with him while I was gone. I really needed a break.

Been busy with life and a new job. Long commute with this job, 100 kms each way. But the days are getting longer, so there is still daylight when I get home now.

Leaving the last place and starting somewhere new has been good, but not without frustrations. A big one being that I had been at the last place for a full year, and was starting to work on vacation plans. Now it will be a full year of working before I'm eligible for vacation again. :( So I'm back down to long weekends and unpaid days off.

I just want to go somewhere!

Probably around Easter, just waiting on the flight schedules being published, etc.

Melody, I am going to Yellowstone again Feb 15-20.....why don't you come join me? It should be far enough off that you could take a couple of days off.....I think part of it is over a long weekend here.

I was looking at that trip! If I stay at this job, that will put me right before my 1 year anniversary, so there shouldn't be a problem with taking time off. But I will still be very low on the totem pole.
I will keep it in mind. I simply have no idea what life will look like that far away.
