Horrible lighting for this show, and not much room at all in the pit, but managed a few good shots. C&C always welcomed.

Always a fun shoot and your description is spot on. Every time I cover them there are 20 people in the pit. And the lighting looks exactly like what I typically get for them.

I like 2 the best. I'm shooting them tonight.

Cool, looking forward to seeing your shots! I'll be interested to see how you handle the lighting since I was all over the place, from 800 ISO to 12,500 ISO. You've had a little more experience than me at shooting shows =)

Here is my set from February. I am expecting worse lighting this time.

Yeah, the lighting and the stage layout looks exactly the same. One thing you do really well is your composition of shots, which I still haven't got used to in a concert setting. If you look at the rest of my gallery )http://www.reicherstudios.com …D#!i=2118196072&k=8vZnPQH (external link)) most of the shots are very central heavy with no varying composition.

Thanks for linking your gallery so I have something to compare against mine and learn from!

I think it takes everyone a bit of time to work to get to their own style. You'll get there. Your shots are good and you got some good moments. I would be happy with them.

Every photographer, always, should be trying to find out how to get better.

I just posted those so you didnt feel bad about the lighting :) It always sucks for them. Drives me crazy. But they are such a fun shoot. Especially Scott.

Haha, thanks! I agree, both Scott and Frankie show some great expressions which make shooting them much easier. Once again, thanks for the C&C.

Not bad at all, but I'd crop a bit more consistent (ratio).

Always liked Scott and Frank. Great musicians and seem like nice guys. Nice shots.
