A friend had me over for christmas eve dinner and asked me to bring my camera along. Didn't manage to get many shots as his kids were always on the move. I've had a play around with one of them to try and hide some rash and to try out sepia. I'd appreciate some comments/criticism as this is really the first go I've had at doing a portrait of any kind. Note, I realise I've chopped her head off a bit. Moving targets are tough!

Good focus and good conversion.

I definately like the conversion to B&W. If this had been taken vertical, I think it would've been such a great photo. I love the expression and all. As far as getting children to work with ya, try snapping a quick picture of them, then show it to them. This works very well for me to get them interested and to work with me. It gets old showing them their picture everytime you take one, but then again, it can be worse such as when they'd rather hide from the camera.

Lovely shot. I like the black and white for this one.
