Wow, I was expecting more of a 50/50 split. This is why I love this forum, everyone is so honest. Anywhere else it would've been childish name calling and people calling each other a fanboy. I appreciate all the responses. Looks like I'm going to get the Nikon unless the wife lets me splurge for the Mark III. Current Gear: Sony RX1RII

Unless you're really pixel peeping, I doubt you're going to see a huge difference in IQ. The Nikon is definitely cleaner at higher ISO, but the Canon is no slouch. Usability, the Nikon is hands down my favorite. I get considerably more keepers with any type of action/movement on the Nikon. I just can't decide if I need to abandon Canon at this time. Set up is nearly identical, members are very nice, has lens sample threads, lots of different forums for camera bodies, etc. The biggest difference is that it doesn't get the amount of posting that POTN does. snake0ape Goldmember More info | Oct 04, 2012 18:06 | #29 Lens, Lens, Lens. D600 is a great camera, and probally also the 6D. The 5Dii was great and is still great. Your going FF which tells me you want to achieve a higher level of picture quality. Within a month, your are going to want a better lens, but you have just spent it all on a expensive new camera that will depreciate in half in two years. 5Diii | 50D | 8-15L 4| 16-35L 2.8 II| 24-70L 2.8 II | 70-200L 2.8 IS II |Tamy 150-600 | Σ35Art 1.4 | 40 2.8 | Σ50Art 1.4 | 85L 1.2 II | 100 2.8 Macro | Helios 44-3 58mm f2.0 |Helios 40-1 85mm f1.5 | 1.4x & 2x teleconverters
