Just a couple of shots from Waterton, tried some different settings and times of day. I am pleased with the results.

Size matters. Both beautiful. KUDOS.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.

Both terrific shots, but #1 ftw! Hope you've got some room left on the wall...

Thanks so much! I love the Waterton area, I did not spend much time there when I lived close, but now that I am much farther away I miss the mountains! It sure gives me a valid reason for road trips!

Nice to be appreciated by others who are highly skilled...

Very cool shots! Where is the waterfall in #1 located? I'm actually headed to that area next week for the first time.

It is Cameron Falls, literally right in the town of Waterton. It is easy access, has been photographed a million times and can be quite crowded. If I can make a suggestion, wait for the right light, and while your doing so, have a look at the angles that you can work with. The falls face east...so late afternoon is the best!

It is only one of the many waterfalls in the area, if your willing to get out of your vehicle and hike a bit you will be very happy with the scenery the area has to offer. The tourist spots, Cameron Falls, Red Rock Canyon, et al, can be quite busy and impossible to get a shot without having someone in it. Getting away from those areas, even just a little is what I love most, and miss so much. I remember a short hike off the road that leads to Red Rock Canyon, it was so quiet, and peaceful, incredible moment...

Thanks! I played with different focal lengths, I believe this one was 58mm, 24-70 L @ f22.
