I was just thinking. Has anyone ever considered approaching
Adorama or B&H with the offer of a bulk order from the POTN
members? If they can drop 100 - 5D Mark III on e-bay for
$2750.00 instead of the regular $3200.00 Do you think they
would offer us the same type of deal, if we had 100 people
together to place a bulk order? Each use would have to contact
the vendor to arrange payment, but if we had enough people
who would commit to the purchase at one time you would thing
they would pass along the same type of offer. Yes it might take
a few weeks to get enough people together to place a bulk
order, but it might be worth it.
We could do it for 1 product at a time, but could pick a
specific lens or camera that people are interested in, and
try and get some bulk discounts.
Any thoughts?
