I'm not event and weddings photographer. Using my 5Dc for personal use (big family) and taking pictures for friends if they asking for it.
I see absolutely no, zero, reason for ISO above 1600 on FF for my needs.
1600 is very clean and with f1.6-1.8 it is enough for 1/50-1/100 under low light.
If need clean, noise less exposure under bad light, I learned, it took some time, how to use flash.
With family and friends it is not the issue. Party or delivery room.

IMO, if you are pro - no reason to keep 5Dc. If you are using 5Dc for personal use, it is easy to avoid situations where you need ISO25600. Day or night.

Here's a reason...shot in Venice, Italy. Lens wide open, and the shutter speed slowed down as much as possible (I tried with slower SS and lower ISO, but the slow SS blurred the boats way too much, the picture was useless). A flash would have completely ruined the "feel" of this picture. The absolute *ONLY* way to get this shot was to bump the ISO to 12,800. ie: I couldn't have gotten this with the 5Dc.

Same here: Flash would have been useless, didn't have my tripod with me, so slowing the SS wouldn't have worked and lens was wide open...only solution: bump the ISO to 6400:

Same with shooting inside things like old churches...flash photography is generally frowned upon, as is putting a tripod down...so you have no other choice but to bump the ISO...for some of us there are plenty of reasons to go above 1600!!
