I searched about slings on this forum. I see a lot of incase being mentioned.

I need a bag I can put my d5, flash, lens, and possibly 1 spare lens in. I have a great messenger bag that I can use to store more of my stuff (case logic xnslr - love this bag) but I need something portable.

I like the idea of the ones that sort of suspend the camera up so the lens doesn't have pressure on it but it isn't a must.

I looked at the manfrotto agile V but couldn't find much info on that one here.

This will be my out and about bag - I bring all my stuff when I'm on a job but just need something portable.

Please chime in!!

I own a sling but it just sits in my closet. I found that the slings hurt my shoulder by putting all the weight on one side instead of like a backpack that distributets more evenly. Just something to consider.

Here's my sling, love it. Although it looks like there is a newer version out with a tablet/ipad sleeve inside.

I'm leaning towards the case logic because of price. Where did you buy your incase bag - it looks really good. I don't need the computer pouch since this will be my lower profile bag?

The caselogic is good for the simple conversion into a sling strap, see the later posts of this thread

Got mine on Amazon.

You can still get the older style like mine on ebay. Item number 250901043576, sellers out of Vermont so shipping shouldn't take to long.

I like Kata Bags. The slings can be used as a sling on either shoulder or a backpack.
