mk3 has a few advantages that are nice.
Less banding - good for pushing shadows a little more

Less banding - good for pushing shadows a little more autofocus - yes even with landscapes its handy at times, as is the 6fps Better sensor cleaning. 5d2 sucks, 5d3 seems much better. Spirit level - again not always but it does help especially in low light Viewfinder grid & bracketing etc. I would agree with all of this, though I think the reason the Mark III's sensor stays cleaner is probably the better weather sealing. That is one of the features that I found very attractive when upgrading from the Mark II to the Mark III. I often shoot in misty or dusty environments and constantly fretted about protecting my Mark II from the elements. I used to prefer the 7D for the most nasty environments, but now I don't hesitate to bring my main camera wherever I go. Photography by Erin Babnik
