Although some 3rd party inks appear to work well. "Save the model, Save the camera, The Photographer can be repaired"

I was really impressed with how fast it could print even a 13"x19" the advertisements really aren't far fetched at all! Urban Photography at its creepiest

The only thing I dont like about this printer is that it doesnt do black and white very well. I now wish I had gotten one that would do a better job on black and white. That is the only problem I have with it.

I worked with Epson 2200 printers before I got the Canon i9900 and I felt the Canon did a much better job on black and white prints then the Epson did.

I don't know how long it will be but its comming. If you want a i9900 then now is the time. No doubt the replacement will have the new chipped cartridges and ChromaLife ink. I don't know if its bad or good.

The color quality and detail produced by the small ink droplets this printer has is very impressive. Ocaisionally I have prints made at a professional lab, and it's very hard to see the differences between photos from the lab or from the i9900. You do go through alot of ink cartridges in the process. But that is a small price to pay for the superb quality this printer produces. [SIZE=1]Jack Syer

They are all the same price (list). The Canon did very well although it wasn't a real 1st, 2nd and 3rd place type article. Might be on their web site. Bob
