Neoprene is a synthetic rubber, its water proof and resists oils and aging.

I'm taking pictures of everything, so go ahead and take this place away from me.

Right on the money dude! Neoprene also is a great "Shock" absorber. But I doubt I'd pay more then $50 for a cover...

HKFEVER ,

This could be of use ,I know it is in the UK but it is so cheap and I am sure they would post obviously at a cost .

Neoprene polychloroprene is an extremely versatile synthetic rubber. It is used to make wetsuits but I don't think dry suits. The neoprene covers like the LensCoat (external link) are worn like a glove on the lens with different segments for different parts of the lens.

www.warehouseexpress.com (external link) have a lot of this stuff. They've got ones for different size lenses and differnt styles of DPM. You'll find it under Photographic - Wildlife.

I'd be really surprised if you couldn;t find a local supplier in HK once you know what you want. If you can't get something in HK, is it really worth having?

Be forwarned - Shipping costs for items from England to the rest of the planet are very high for the weight of anything you do buy.

Try buying large sporting (hunting) socks with appropriate pattern and cut the toe end off. It will slip on easily. Won't be shock absorbent but will be scratch proof.

Check out this guy's solution. Neoprene Waterfowlers/Decoy (external link) gloves. Nice!
