I really like this, but what do you guys say? Is there anything to this?

I tried for a sexy, fashion look...

Well, since you asked....

First question is - is this supposed to be viewed at this angle?

Sexy - No, can't say it invokes any 'sexy' emotion, and for some reason, I get the dfeeling the model is under 18 years old, so , definitely not sexy

Fashion - the shoes are dirty

General - hands/bracelet seem very soft to me, composition is awkward, concrete is unattractive, and the crack is distracting/annoying.

Sorry, I don't see it as a keeper.

If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

The skin looks a little funny to me ... the lighting is very flat and I'd like to see more depth of field or more of her.

It's a snap shot of white boots. I don't see it as any more than that.

Thanks for the CC. As a beginner, I'm still working on learning what is and isn't good. For the record though, the model is my 42 y.o. wife. I wouldn't take such an image of anyone under 18. I did oversoften the skin...I see what you are saying.

Perhaps a profile shot of the legs if that's what you're shooting would have been better. Something with a blurred background in the outdoors. The potential is there for making it better, just keep shooting, shoot in all different angles but rule of thumb (not always THE rule but helps) is shoot the subject, in this case your wife's legs at eye level, this means getting down on your knees or even laying down on your stomach.

Just keep shooting, don't stop at the first try!

Photos should tell a story. Are you trying to make the viewer contemplate what's going on with this person? Something else? The problem I have with this photo is that the "story" could be one of MANY things and I'm left guessing what it could be. Like others said....keep trying...you'll get there.
