Technically... it is easy to see where the skin processing stops before the white clothing/bracelets begin. The softness of the hands make them look very young but they they are too soft. The fingers and nails need more definition.

personally, i think you should focus on improving your composition, judging from this picture. Look more into the rule of thirds and study images.
Best of luck and keep on shooting!

Not only a Californian solidarity but I am also totally with Stayhumble in the approach for a right point of emphasis.
My take in his direction:

While this may not be CC, I would definitely tell you wife her legs, arms and hands were mistaken for someone under 18. That alone makes this a keeper! *at least for her...

I really like this, but what do you guys say? Is there anything to this?

I tried for a sexy, fashion look...

QUOTED IMAGE

This is going to sound over critical so I apologies, but hopefully you'll take it as my opinion only.

Firstly, I'd say there isn't a focus point for the image. You may have been better to shoot this head on and make the hands/finger nails the center point? I don't know what i'm suppose to be looking at.

Second, the image looks under exposed, the white looks far too high, and the skin looks like you've over de-noised it in LR.

I think its important with any image to know what your focus point is, and keep in mind the rule of third's. Then focus and expose correctly, then edit according to style or enhance.

Hope this helps.

For the record though, the model is my 42 y.o. wife. I wouldn't take such an image of anyone under 18.

Is it worth anything? A compliment to your wife, KirkS518 thought your wife's legs looked under 18.
