Can You post a photo of the back of the printer if You have this printer please?

I am considering buying this but need to know how much space is wasted on the back since I would like to put it on a shelf that I would rather not have much deeper than 25 cm. The printer is 30,9 cm deep and I could extend the shelf to that but no more than that.

I have the PIXMA iP5200. The depth from front to back is, as you say, about 31 cms. However the paper tray that fits underneath the front of the printer sticks out a further 9.5 cms. This would not be a problem were you to use the top paper feeder only.

I will get this printer just the version without builtin networking.

Which photo paper is best with this printer?

I am in the process of trying both Ilford and Kodak papers with the iP5200. To date the best paper for this printer has been Canon. When you buy the printer you should get a small pack of Canon paper. The prints using this paper are fantastic !
However Canon paper in the U.K. is very expensive and really does not make printing at home worthwhile hence my efforts to find a more reasonable alternative.
