Nice shots. Been to Bishop several times, although not for many years. In the 80's we were in Tonopah, NV for an Army/AF exercise for a month and took a few trips to Bishop to swim and cool off. Nice town.

Thank you. This was my first time to Bishop, but will be going there again. Really enjoyed the fall leaves.

My uncle lives in Bishop and I make every attempt to get up there to experience the seasons. I'm heading up tomorrow night to spend the weekend there and in Mammoth Lakes. There is so much beauty!

Regarding the photos, they look great but #7 stands out!

@joonrhee, did you use polarizing filter on #3 and #6? I never get that kind of blue sky (without CPL).

Although I did use CPL and ND filters for some shots, I don't think I used a CPL filter for the shots you mentioned. The sky was actually that blue and beautiful. :D

Thanks. I've never seen the sky that blue. Might have been the high end L lens. I have beginners kit (T2i, nifty fifty and Tokina 11-16mm). It looks a bit better with CPL attached and turned to max effect but never as blue as your photos.
