From my latest trip up to Yosemite a few weeks ago. I tried to include some type of foreground element and found this rock/tree for this composition.

Looks like the clouds are originating from Vogelsang.

Pretty much. I wanted to photograph the moon over Mount Florence, but clouds moved in.

FWIW I didn't even notice the tree at first until I read the post and then I had to look for it.

Wow... that looks like a photo of Mordor or something.... I can almost expect to a Nazgul or two to come flying around one of those mountains!
