I've been shooting concerts and dj's with my 50D for about 6 months now and have been less than satisfied with the noise performance at 3200 ISO. I've been looking at the 5dc and the mark 2 for a while now. Is the noise performance of the 5dc good enough at 3200 ISO to make it worth buying, or should I keep saving and get a mark 2?

i would get the mark 2...5Dc is pretty dated comparatively, and shouldn't be all that much more $. plus, it's not that great at 3200.

Narlus is right, not that much difference in price, especially in the coming months as Canon will probably have to lower prices to compete with the new Nikon offerings. Plus, any cheap 5Dc is probably very well used, emphasis on "very well" :)
I shot for years with 5Dc, and even with f/2.8 glass it is still hard to get decent concert shots. So save your money and imo, rent 5d MkII once and try it out at a concert before buying.
Also, make sure your glass is top notch, no sense upgrading the camera if your lenses aren't up to the task. If you aren't using primes or 70-200 II 2.8 or the like then you may want to consider investing in better glass first before a new camera. Glass lasts for years, new camera technology always changing.

At larger venues I shoot with my 50mm, but at the smaller bar type venues I usually use my 18-50 2.8. The L glass is in the works once a few of my jobs start paying a bit better.

I used to shoot concerts with a 5Dc all the time. I actually stopped using it last November.

It's a PERFECTLY capable camera for shooting concerts. I loved the photos I got shooting shows with it.

I'm still shooting with a 5dc. It is a perfectly capable camera for concert shooting. If you want to see some examples, 95% of the stuff here is shot with a 5dc, 50mm 1.4, and 70-200 2.8: http://theboneyard.smugmug.com/Music (external link)

That said, if I were shooting more often, or trying to go pro, I'd upgrade. The camera does struggle with low light, and I spend way more time culling and post-processing than I would with a more modern body. I'm anxious to see if the 5DIII drops in price or if 6D is right for me.

I had a friend loan me his 1ds mark 2 this past weekend, I could only shoot at 1600 ISO due to how bad the noise was. Some of the shots looked great but most of them fell shot of acceptable. My 50d was doing a better job of focusing and getting sharper images. I am starting to look into a 1dmark3 for shooting shows and snowboarding.

Anyone use a 1d3 for shows?

IMO, the 1Ds2 does well enough at ISO 1600… ISO 3200 is usable if need be.

I was having some focus issues with the 1ds2 it was tracking a lot with my 70-20050mm 2.8. Doing through the edits I do like a hand full of the shots I got.

How do the 2 cameras compare when shooting low light. Not too worried about big megapixel because most of my work is for the internet.

I still shoot with my 5d and 1d mkII, but I avoid ISO3200 as much as possible. With primes it's good enough for most venues, but I wouldn't mind having higher ISO capabilities either.

1D2 and 1Ds2 apparently have a bit different AF system (focus on accuracy instead of speed).

I used to have a 1D2.

AF on the 1D3 is a bit better then on my 1D2, but not perfect. I've used another 1D2 which did at least as good as my 1D3.

AF micro adjust is very welcome.

High ISO is about a stop better and the CR2 files can take more abuse before falling apart.
