beautiful shots. I love the Cheetah.. then again it's my 2nd fav cat just behind the snow leopard.


I shoot a little black box with a round thingy ma-giggy in the front.

Lovely pictures!
The elephant trunk picture is the one standing out for me, love the smooth background and nice sharpness on the trunk :)
Tho I gotta ask, which lens were you using? Did the 100-400mm get you close enough for those shots?

you can read the EXIF to get the focal length on all of these, but they are all from my 1DIII, with the 100-400. Some of them have the 1.4x teleconverter on. I remember that the leopard one does not, but I can't remember for the rest of them. Generally, getting close to the animals was not a problem though.

The leopard is great. Did you consider brightening the exposure up just a bit?


I am here to learn, so suggestions for improvement are welcome on any of my photos.

Have to agree with the rest, the first is my favorite, a little lightening in the shadows might work well
