I've had three L lenses since 2001. They have been to Africa, China, and all over the US. For the last several years, I've had a 10D and 20D and just shot jpegs.
I am geting ready for an Australia/New Zealand trip and am upgrading to new digital bodies. Just ordered a 7D refurb and seriously considering a 6D. We will be shooting RAW for this trip with the intention of having some "wall art" prints.
The lenses are
16-35L
24-70L
100-400L

These are all the first edition versions. I figure it's time to get them cleaned and possibly calibrated. Can anyone recommend a reliable provider for checking them and doing the work?

Thanks.

There a small shop in NJ called TF cameras, he is located in East Brunswick. Been repairing Canon's camera and lens for the past 35+ years. Very experience and pricing is fair.

Tell him Gary sent you. :D

Small shop, very experienced, fast turnaround time.

Below is info from the website, and no I do not have any affiliation with the business or owner.

"Quality professional service and extensive product knowledge has been the cause of our success. V-Photo of Atlanta is located in the Atlanta area. William Matiz, solo owner, started with Vivitar Corp. in 1974 as a camera and lens technician.

We have been highly trained in all makes and models cameras: NIKON, CANON, PENTAX, MINOLTA, OLYMPUS, VIVITAR, and FUJI, including Nikonos Underwater system.

Our technicians have an average of 10 years experience in photographic equipment. Vivitar selected V-Photo of Atlanta as one of its authorized camera repair facilities for over fifteen years. V-Photo of Atlanta service a high volume of work, which permits our repair specialists to concentrate on particular matters assuring the highest quality work."

I was referred to him by a few NIKON pros who swear by his work and rates.

I probably should have stated that I am in the Chicago area. I hope to take it somewhere local if they are reputable.
