Just bought 2 tickets for my first NBA game, Lakers vs Miami on Feb 10 for the fiance and I, right after I started searching online regarding camera policy.
I understand that a big white tele lens will be impossible to bring inside without a media pass, but what about a 5Dii + 135L and a 1.4x TC in my pockets?
Should I consider bringing a 200 2.8L?

Just enjoy the game. If you do insist on bringing your camera, make sure you aren't bothering the other fans or obstructing their view.

200mm will get you a nice close shot at 60 feet. Are you going to be that close? I shoot from the court and I use a 400mm for the far end.

yeah you are right, I will probably just bring the 135L and 17-40L just in case I want to take picture of the peopl but otherwise we will just sit down and enjoy the game.

we will be in section 325 which is fairly high and I know the 135L or 200L wont cut it either.

That high, I would just bring the 17-40 and get some cool overview shots.
