I wish my son came out sharper but even though he's blurred .... I think it's a pretty funny shot. Thought I'd share it with you. I used my kit lens for this one.

Fun. I have 4 sons and I take pictures every autumn when they jump into the leaves they rake up. It's fun. I have been lucky to get them in mid-air with my 85 1.8 or my 28-135 IS. Try it again and set the shutter speed faster, otherwise, fun shots.

Thanks SuzyView :) I actually just got a 50mm 1.8 today so I will try this again using that. The one above was taken with the 18-55mm and it's not as fast as I would like. Littleones move around ALOT dont they?! LOL

I just got the 50mm 1.4 three weeks ago and I love it! I have never had a 50mm for my digital equipment, just for my old AE-1 Program (I'm old because that system is about 30 years old). I take the 50mm with me all the time now. Enjoy it.
