Action not working in Photshop CS6

The action I create to open a folder, process all the images in that folder and save them to another folder works EXCEPT for the Close command. when recording the action I do the File and Close and it closes the image and then I stop recording. I review the action and notice that the Close command in the action has no > beside it as the other steps have. Thus when I start the action it leaves open the images as they are processing them and not closing them. The images are being saved into the correct destination folder but are also left open in photoshop as they are being processed.

Can anyone tell me how to get the Close command to work so each image that is saved to the destination folder is closed before opening the next one?

Guess not..oh well, I figured it out..I needed to supress the file open command.

Don't include open, save or close in actions. Instead run the action through the image processor (or Dr Browns much improved version of it). Saves major headaches.

Russell Brown offers an improved version of the image processor over what ships with Photoshop. He also has a number of other add ins for Photoshop that can be handy. The image processor falls under the product of Dr. Brown's Services 2.3.1.
