Inspired by Stoneylonesome, I saw a barn today that caught my eye. A little worse for wear :(

I'll try to get some of the older stone barns locally soon ;)

Ah, good old battered UK barns! Nice angle on the shot :)

I'll have to post a couple of mine :)

If in doubt, I shut up...

Gear: 40D, 12-24mm AT-X Pro, 17-85mm, Sigma 150mm Macro Sigma 100-300 F4, 550EX, other stuff that probably helps me on my way.

Certainly is a unique use for corrugated metal. Just a little work on the roof and she'll be good as new. Nice shot good choice of an angle to show the barn. I really have to get back out on the back roads and find some more hidden treasures. :D :D

Not in the UK it isn't. A good deal of our barns are like this, or corrugated asbestos.

Certainly no attractive wooden ones like you capture ;)

The biggest use of the corrugated metal here is on the roofs, in Vermont the even use it as a roofing material on a lot of houses.:D

Must be very noisy inside when it rains! ;) :) :)

Thanks for the comments all. The angle was pretty much forced on me as there were buildings around it. To get a reasonable view I had to walk down a narrow walkway by another building (the Mewan Sunday School building from my other post) It's the side of that building that you can see bottom right. I did take one from the farm gate but it was into the light and did not come out too well.

Thanks for looking :D
