Last year I was very fortunate to travel to London for a documentary shoot. While traveling on a double-decker sightseeing bus on my off time, I noticed this giant billboard which seemed to be staring at us through the front windshield.

The second picture was taken as some teenage girls passed us in another bus. When they saw this goofy tourist taking pictures, they hammed it up for the camera. Both pictures were taken with my Canon S410 Digital Elph P&S camera, which was all I had at that time.

I hope you like 'em. Comments always appreciated. :D

I love the first one! I notice too that they don't have the "Spitting Prohibited" notice at the front of the double decker now :D Second shot is really cool too.
Hope the Christmas season is treating you well,

The first shot is really cool. Nice job capturing something most people probably missed all together.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to look and comment.

Solinger, I remember a long time ago seeing a Pulitzer Prize winning photograph taken at John F. Kennedy's funeral. Everyone was snapping pictures of the processional but this one photographer turned around and took a picture of an elder member of the band with tears streaming down his face. Ever since then, I have realized it's not only the "action" that's important, but many times the "reaction" can be even more amazing.

Edit: Moral of the story, keep looking at everything around you besides the obvious.

Quite a coincidence you've got there. Notice how many people are even looking on the bus?

Thanks everyone for your nice comments.

Wavy C, I know we have all from time to time missed a really great shot by just a few seconds and that drives me nuts. I always try to keep my head on a swivel to limit those missed opportunities.

Didn't mean to freak anybody out, I just captured the image the way I saw it. But I am glad the image caused some strong reactions. I think any form of art is successful when it does that. :D
