Early Autumn tunnel

This was nothing more than a quick snapshot while my wife and I were out for a walk over the weekend. I basically liked the contrasting shade and sunlight that looked like a tunnel in real life.

For a snapshot, I think the end product turned out OK, but I'm wondering what I could do differently (either pre or post processing) to improve the scene. I can easily take the pic over again, and plan to do just that once the leaves start changing a bit more.
