Is the evaluative metering mode in the 5D3 linked to any selected AF point, or only the center AF point? Thanks

Depending on the scene, the reading difference can be substantial. Could you post your test shots?

At least, thats how i read it. Ive always thought this was the same for my old 350D, 30D, 40D and 60D although its not something i ever tested. Only if shutter button has factory setting for shutter button (focus and metering) does holding shutter button half way hold the exposure. You need to give me OK to edit your image and repost! apersson850 Obviously it's a good thing More info | No, because it locks when you lock focus. And if you have that at AF-ON, you don't lock. Anders
