I was looking for some waterfowls but saw this guy crouching in the water. At first i thought it was an injured pigeon (rather small, couldn't see well in the shade) but when i zoomed in with my Bigma, OMG, it's a Sharpie!!! What is a sharpie doing in the water??? It stood there for awhile, walked alittle, took a short bath, made bowel movement....whole thing lasted 20, 25 mintes. Wow, what an amazing experience seeing a Sharpie's daily routine.

What a lucky guy to have witnessed this!! Great series and wonderful setting. Quite unusual for ANY kind of raptor and you certainly made the best of it. Very nice.

A great series of a most unusual spectacle. I get a kick out of seeing a Sharpie fly by 50 feet above my head and I also smile when a robin or bluejay takes a bath but what you found is a rare sight indeed. Nice composition, light . color and sharpness. Excellent work!
