I'd prefer the lens paint to match the camera paint but all that really matters is the quality of the photos in the end.
If there was a 3rd option to the poll, I'd click "indifferent"

I rented a a 70-200 and took it out to South Beach for walking around. A bit challenging with the 70mm minimum but do-able. Lots of comments, sometimes even a conversation starter lol. Last time I looked, my Sigma 50-500 is black.. But feel free to send me your white lenses- I'll spray paint them black for you- send you a bill for say $500, and send you your lens back when the bill is paid... Owain Glyndwr wrote in post #15111914 ![]() the problem i have is that all my current lenses are black, so if i suddenly appear with a white lens my wife knows I've spent money on new equipment. She doesn't seem to notice the odd addition to my collection if is black. I have to borrow or rent white lenses. My R/C Helicopters used to be yellow and black (mainly yellow- but both colors )- for the exact same reason..
