At the time i shot this, i owned a 2002 WRX STI Type RA Spec C, so i can appreciate the OMG's from those who, like me, think chrome wheels are for latent homosexuals who just can't seem to find the inner door handle on the cupboard...oh, or women; who think wheels should be 'pretty', even though they use them to find the curb when parking...

Also, they are from a culture where overdone glitz and every conceivable extra is the norm...

Think i've offended enough groups by now, better end here...

shots aren't bad but why is the wrx now a convertable and why is the suspension fully compressed? paul walker would not approve.

I agree, nice coverage of it. Show cars have their place, but sometimes you just have to stand back & say, "I think we've gone far enough with this?"

Agree 100%, some people just don't get it. Sadly thought they think it is us that doesn't get it.

Lol... I remember when this was on the cover of Hot4s at least 8 years ago. Along with the other green WRX with tigers airbrushed on it and all the other WRX's that followed.

I appreciate the engineering and the effort involved. But it is fugly as hell. Remember this car was back in the day when JDM was WTF and chromies and tan leather interiors in every car were cool!
