Seems that the light wasn't too good, and the camera was at long zoom...? The image doesn't include its Exif data - leaves one guessing. Was it processed in Photoshop with exif-stripping turned on?

Regards, Dave. Focus bracketing is on page 141 of the manual

Shot all jpeg, first two are right out of the camera, third with some minor adjustments in DPP. ![]() ![]() ![]() IMAGE LINK: http://www.flickr.com …teve_overholt/8111128967/ ![]() ![]() ![]() IMAGE LINK: http://www.flickr.com …teve_overholt/8111083042/ ![]() ![]() ![]()

Scrumhalf Cream of the Crop ![]() More info | Oct 25, 2012 14:07 | #13 At full 1200mm, taken from a distance of probably 250-300 feet at least. This was a jpg image, massaged to the best of my abilities in Lightroom. Settings are not great, as I was just playing around with the camera, so I am sure it can do far better. Overall, pretty pleased with it. I will take better shots and see what it takes to get the RAW images into Lightroom (4.1 does not recognize the RAW images from this camera at this time). Sam

Scrumhalf Cream of the Crop ![]() More info | Oct 25, 2012 15:18 | #15 Thank you! And this was with terrible settings. I set it at f8 on Av and let her rip. I think the photo came out at 1600 ISO. I bet it would have been far better if I had forced it to 400 ISO and went from 1/320 to 1/80 sec. The camera was on a tripod and the herons are patient birds. Next time! Sam
