Someone saw me shooting the other day and asked a lot of questions about cameras. While I was shooting my 7D and 100-400, I couldn't help but sing the praises of this little camera.

I took this one this afternoon. The flowers were up in a tree, so this isn't a "macro" shot. It's actually at 168mm focal length and cropped slightly:

I have been meaning to shoot it for almost a year and kept forgetting. It is a cool piece of art.

^^ Wow, AP! Impressive macro shot, there. I like the dog-rock shot, John. Nice shots, too, Tipidsale.

I had my sx50 with me at my daughter's softball practice, yesterday, and thought I would try to catch a "plane and Moon" shot. I missed my first chance while I was figuring out the burst mode (yeh I know, I should already know the camera's functions). Anyway, I finally caught a good one...

Thanks, sandwedge.

Great shots tipidsale and sandwedge.

Turn your dial to sports mode for burst and jpeg. AF is quicker also after initial acquisition.
